How to set up your Ventrilo guild voice chat
After installing, run the program.
Click -> next to ""User Name" to create your user.
You might would like to make your name identical to your Vendictus Character.
You may also duplicate a user after setting up the server info, and then rename it in order to create a 2nd username on Ventrilo, named after your other Vendictus characters.
After creating a new user, click -> next to "Server".
Click "New". You may name it after "vindictus" or the guild name, whichever you prefer.
Fill in the appropriate fields.
REQUEST PASSWORD FROM A GUILD ADMIN
Click "Setup".
Push To Talk:
If enabled, your mic will not listen to you until you hit the hotkey button. This button is customizable, but by default is the left control button. (for windows)
Sensitivity:
The lower this number, the more likely your mic will pick up noise. If you have a quiet mic, it might be best to test out a lower number. Try something between 40 and 20. If your mic turns on at the slightest sound, try raising the number.
Outbound, Recording Volume:
If your guild buddies tell you your mic is too loud, try lowering this bar some.
Inbound, Listening volume:
if your guild buddies are a bit too loud for you, try lowering it. If they're always too quiet, try raising it.
Silence time:
You shouldn't have to edit this, but if you're an experienced user, you may customize this.
Click ok.
